The Lucky Cat

0

During the Miami Dragon Boat festival you might see different little cat statues. These cute little cats are know as the "Welcoming Cat", "Lucky Cat", "Money Cat", or "Fortune Cat".

As the name suggests the cats represent good fortune, but did you know that they can bring more than just good fortune?  Yes it can, based on the gesture and different colors.

Next time you see one, take note of it's paw. A raised right paw attracts money, while a raised left paw attracts people. If you see one with both paws raised then it will bring a double powered good luck to the owner.

The cat's color can bring in a specified luck. Traditional cats have a white background with random black and orange patches. This coloring is considered especially lucky and is the most popular color for lucky cats. Modern lucky cats have different colors to help change the flow of energy in your home or office:

Yellow/Gold - Brings in wealth
Purple - Brings wisdom
Blue - Brings Career or School success
White - Brings Happiness
Red/Pink - Brings Luck in romance, marriage, family
Black - Protection from evil

If you combine these lucky cats with the art of Feng Shui you can sustain the desired quality of life in a more effortless and gracious way.

So the next time you see one of these lucky cats, take note what type of cat it is. Maybe it will bring the luck you have been looking for.
